Eons ago, when pay per click advertising was just starting to catch on in the world, I worked for a a small company that specialized in lead generation. Essentially, people paid this company a single monthly fee to drive leads to them. Our “PPC team” was literally myself and my coworker.
We’re getting a decent stream of leads in and customers are fairly happy, but the boss (who is also the owner of the company) wants more. He wants everybody’s inbox full of leads. But he doesn’t understand the notion of PAY in PAY PER CLICK.
