I have the receiver of malicious compliance and I can’t stop laughing, to be honest.
So I ordered these coasters online from a luxury department store and they came-in just fine, except the box that holds the coasters was completely shattered on one side. I call the store’s customer service to ask for another container and mention to her that the problem was likely due to the shoddy bubble-wrapping and to notify the proper people so the next one comes through OK. She says she will definitely let them know. I was super normal about it – I’m very casual in real life.
