So i work at a large retail establishment in the united states that started doing grocery pickup within the last year (think krogers ClickList)
Basically customers place orders online, we shop for their groceries, then we bring them to their cars during a set timeframe. We read off any substitutions, if anything was unavailable, we get their signature and load the groceries.
