Yet another long story about stupid middle management…
In my office we use a certain software. Some parts of the interface are not very user-friendly, but it’s designed to be used by professionals who know what they’re doing. My manager unfortunately doesn’t know what she’s doing most of the time. We’ve been using this software for 3+ years and she still doesn’t know how to use it.
One thing in particular that my manager never remembers is that after uploading a new input file she has to press a BIG BUTTON WITH ROTATING ARROWS that says “Refresh Input Data” so the software can display the new input instead of the old. This button is right underneath the “Upload File” button, too, so it’s not like it’s easy to forget.
