NATASHA DENONA Lila Palette - First look, swatches, and quick eye look!
The Lila palette has finally reached me (love how fast Beautylish ships stuff internationally) and I only had an hour to quickly swatch, shoot, and apply it. Here’s a quick look for all of you.
Do I think you MUST have it?
No. Not unless you love rich purples and rose tones like me. Does it overlap with the original Purple-Blue palette? Slightly. But none of the shades are repeats. I do prefer this color scheme (purples, roses, warms). This is a variation on a sunset/evening palette.
I don’t consider this a palette for beginners though. You have to use a light hand and don’t swirl your brush in the palette. It’s very fine and will kick up dust. Also, these have higher pigment concentration and work best if you primed your lids. If you overblend, the colors can go muddy.
If you just want some fun bright violet colors on the cheap, I would say go for the Juvia’s Place Masquerade palette instead. You don’t absolutely need this.
But I love it personally.
