Hi guys! It’s @shrinkle, Sugarpill’s founder. I just want to thank you all SOOO much for making Oh Honey! a record-breaking launch for us! 😭💕 The amount of love you have shown this collection is surreal. Getting to collab with my love @trixiemattel had me constantly asking myself: How much dreamier of a dream job can a girl possibly have? I honestly don’t think it could have been anymore perfect. Despite his crazy tour schedule, Trixie was fully invested in every step of creating the collection - conceptualized the theme, created the colors, tested the formulas, came up with all the shade names (even though I stopped him from naming a shade “Smoker… because it looks like a cigarette filter!”) and worked with us on the look and feel of the packaging. For the campaign shoot, I wanted it to look like you locked eyes with Trixie at the square dance social and she told you to meet her in the barn in 10 minutes and when you get there you crack the door open and the light falls perfectly on her lying in the hay in slutty garter and stockings but the dress can’t be slutty cuz she’s still a good girl and this is her first time disobeying her parents. 😇 This is easily the most special #sugarpill project I’ve ever worked on not only cuz Trixie is the epitome of beauty goals to me, but also cuz it reminded me how freaking lucky I am to have so much love and support in my life! 😭
