Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder in Glow - How To Get A Poreless Glow
Laura Mercier’s new Loose Setting Powders in Glow shades are getting a lot of buzz but most people seem mystified by how you can dust a shimmery shade all over your face without it looking like you buffed highlight all over.
First off, this is a product that looks gorgeous on camera. In fact I suspect it was made specifically FOR cameras. But in real life, it can be a bit much cos you’d look like an extra from Twilight. No kidding.
This is not like Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders at all. It’s much more pearlescent than those. But not as sparkly as the Ambient Lighting Highlighters either. Kinda hard to describe without trying it out in store!
So I came up with a simple trick to keep the glow subdued where it should be; under the eyes where there are fine lines, and inner cheeks where the pores are larger… And it worked out pretty well!
