Some years ago I worked in a small office (about 10-12 employees some part-time) where we had a standard filter drip 12 cup coffee pot for everyone. We all drank coffee, some of us more than others but there was one woman who was a coffee fiend. Checking the pot was the first thing she did each day and if you took the last cup you better be sure to make a new pot; she would complain loud and long if she needed her fix and found the pot empty.
