I used to work in a call centre in AUS when the NBN was being rolled out. My job was outbound calls and our centre was working with current Telstra customers to explain the move, book a time where a technician could be let in with a downtime of 20 mins, and for bonus commission you could change their plan (NBN transitions were free, but changing plan could go either way depending on how old or good your current deal was).
