Please bear with me as it is my second time posting… (My 1st time was poetry… don’t judge…) and i don’t know if this goes here…
I work at a Dental office and I decided “what the heck, why not, I always deal with this sort of thing and I cannot just keep it to my self.”… So Please bear with me and let me give some background before before the juicy part starts.
Pt - Patient
EP - Entitled Patient
Me - as Me
I work as a Patient Coordinator and when a pt cracks a tooth or the tooth is SEVERELY worn down, a crown must be placed before the tooth cracks down to the root, this is important, but not to the story. An Established pt of mine cracked the top part of a lower left molar (#30 if I am not mistaken), and was fortunate(?) enough of just needing a Build up (a filling that holds a crown) and a Crown, as most cases the crack is down to the root. This PT got treated same day (as walk in). After we put a temporary crown on, everything was fine, pt WAS aware that a permanent crown can take any where from 1-3 weeks, 3 weeks MAX to get back to our office. And in our office, the permanent crown MUST be delivered by the doctor that started the process (each doctor has their way of doing treatment) and we schedule the permanent crown delivery 2 weeks out. Note, my NEW co-worker whom started in my office a week prior and not not accustomed to scheduling like we do, accidentally scheduled the patient on a different doctors date. HERE is where the story starts.
