So, a buddy of mine (I’ll just refer to him as “Buddy”) owns a rental house for which the city decided to cite him because the fence was in disrepair and needed to be replaced. Initially, Buddy was quite annoyed by the short deadline, work involved, and sudden expense of having to replace the fence to satisfy the city code.
