I work in support and we often see Sales teams and Professional Service teams swan out and fly around the world for client meetings and I have to admit, we get a little jealous, it all seems very glamorous and cool.
Anyways so I was dealing with one of our biggest customers, their issues span several tickets and I was working hard with them to resolve their issues. The relationship was fantastic, they were taking on my advice and everything was gravy and then during 1 call, their member of staff said “We’re doing a large scale test of your platform next week - could you please come to our office and provide on site support and advice” - This was awesome!
