THE BACKSTORY (sorry, I’m not known for my brevity. Skip to the bottom for the important part): 2020 has sucked. COVID and politics aside, my grandma died, I battled with addiction, and am now estranged from my family because I sided with a victim of abuse. Since the summer, I’ve done my best to focus my energy on improving myself and investing in my “chosen family”.
