Buckle in folks. Ive had a beer or two and I’m ready to impart upon you a legend from my family mythology.
I grew up in a big family, which came from a big family, which came from a big family, which came from a couple rebellious Scotsfolks who were kicked out of Scotland for stealing sheep. I’ve got 30 cousins, 12 aunts and uncles, you get the picture. Every summer we would gather at a lake in rural Canada. The adults would drink and us kids would reek havoc all summer long with almost no supervision. It was fantastic.
The lake was sparsely inhabited. For generations, its shores had been lined by our large family brood, some family friends, and… a recent addition. The Boy Scouts of Canada.
