A bit of background info for you, the main antagonist of this story had been a manager for less than 1 year and I work/worked in a small factory spray painting metal parts.
Not long ago I handed in my 4 weeks notice to leave my job due to finding a better one with better pay, my employer didn’t make any offers for me to stay or even just try convincing me.
