Someone told me about this subreddit, and suggested I tell my story here:
Yesterday I received an email from our HOA president telling me a resident in the building had made a complaint that my guest held the lobby door open for a stranger this past Saturday. In the email, he gave me a warning and said the next infraction would result in a fine of $100.
