So this story begins at the start of my previous lease. I moved into a 3x3 in a luxury student housing complex near a popular university with my 2 (ex) best friends. They also happen to be a gay couple. Lets call them Ethan and John. This is important later. I already graduated the year prior but you don’t need to be a student to lease. It also helped John was a leasing consultant there as well. I didn’t want to move there in the first place as it was pricey and was already looking at some apartments in the adjacent town. However, I easily fold when it comes to peer pressure so I signed with them after saying no numerous times. I figured with my new job Ethan’s dad got me as a debt collector I would live comfortably.
