This is a story from my college days, roughly 10 years ago at this point.
My freshmen year I had an English class taught by a guy I’ll call BY. He was brand new to the school, so new that when I registered for the class online his name wasn’t in the school database yet (all classes had the names of the teachers listed with them). First day of class he showed up with his employment contract in hand. I was new to college, he was new to teaching (at least at that school) so I thought it would be a learning experience for all of us.
Turns out the only thing I would learn would be what a truly terrible teacher looks like.
