I worked at a cafe that was inside the building of a local internet provider. Kitchen staff was very small. There were four of us serving 500 plus people a day in this building. We were always on a time crunch to get stuff done.. We were spread very thin. I would cut lunch a half hour short to jump back in and help everyone. I did prep work,managed the grill,did the dishes (we didn’t have those huge dishwashers other restaurants had. It was all by hand),run the register,clean our stations. My boss was a lot older and wasn’t too savvy with computers. I’d help him with writing emails, counting the money, help him fix something minor on the pc, ordering whatever we needed. The only thing I didn’t do was make the entrees.
