Basically, I have friend group that I run Secret Santas (SS) with every year. In the last 6 or so months, one of the guys in got a new girlfriend. Let’s call her Susan. She’s been pleasant enough so far, no one has any reason to dislike her and we’ve only met her twice or so.
Two of the couples in the group are gay. Let’s call them Joe, Jack, Anna and Tina.
After the group decides on the parameters of the SS (i.e acceptable $ amounts, etc), Susan messages me privately. She requests to not be paired to Joe, Jack, Anna and Tina, and another person (Jim, who is single). As there’s only 16 people in the group, 5 of which are couples, the pairings are always tricky (as I always put the exclusion for couples to not end up with each other as giftees).
